My story
I graduated college in 2006. The great recession hit in 2007. My career tragectory disappeared before my eyes. Working hard no longer meant growth, just more work for the same pay and title. I decided to leave the corporate world in 2014. It took 8 people to replace the job role I had been doing on my own.
Today I offer my powerhouse of diverse marketing skills to small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to showcase their unique contributions to the world, I look forward to working with you!
I worked full time for 8 years in the corporate and nonprofit marketing world, this was during the height of the 2008 economic crash and the rise of online marketing. The attitude was “you should just be grateful you have a job.” I am not exaggerating when I say that I was so burnt out and depressed that I had a hard time seeing the point of life.
But I gained incredibly valuable experience and skills in the best practices of marketing and customer relations, even when it seemed like no one was buying, and was able to apply those skills to the platform of online marketing as it was still emerging.
I fell in love with the new opportunities that the constantly expanding online platform provided, and started my own independent consulting business in 2014 in order to focus on helping others navigate the ever-changing world of digital marketing.

Marketing is not a 24/7, life-or-death job.
Social media is a platform that wants you to work to please the algorithm NOT your target audience, or yourself.
The core of customer service has never changed, despite the evolution of marketing mediums.
